Facemask Project

A Fusion of Innovation and Style

In response to the unique challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic, we undertook a mission to redefine the student experience at Imperial, prioritising safety and a sense of belonging. Our impact-focused approach led to the creation of a game-changing solution that not only safeguards students but also fosters a strong sense of community.

In a pioneering initiative, our design team leveraged the cutting-edge HeiQ Viroblock technology to craft four unique facemask styles. Each design was meticulously conceptualised to resonate with the Imperial community, embodying a blend of functionality and fashion.

The project culminated in a triumph, with over 5,000 masks sold, a testament to the seamless integration of safety and aesthetic appeal. This achievement not only signified commercial success but also reinforced our commitment to marrying innovative technology with design excellence.
