The Welcome Week Fair was a fantastic opportunity to introduce students to the My Imperial Campus app. With hands-on demos, real-time feedback, and lively conversations, the Dream Team engaged new and returning students in shaping a smarter campus experience.
Overview
The start of the academic year at Imperial College London is always buzzing with excitement, and this year’s Welcome Week Fairs were no exception. The Dream Team was out in full force, introducing new and returning students to the My Imperial Campus app, ensuring they could make the most of its features from day one.
Connecting with Students
Our mission was simple: to engage with students, show them how the app enhances campus life, and most importantly, hear their thoughts. Already available in beta, the My Imperial Campus app is packed with smart features, including an advanced 3D campus map for seamless navigation, an AI-powered search tool for instant information access, an attendance tracker for effortless session management, and an events hub to keep students updated on campus activities. And this is just the beginning—there’s much more to come!
A Hands-On Experience
Over two action-packed days, we connected with hundreds of students, from freshers finding their way to returning students eager to explore new features. More than just a demonstration, this was a collaborative experience—real-time feedback helped us refine the app, ensuring it remains truly student-first and evolves with the needs of its users.
The Dream Team in Action
Dressed in fresh branded T-shirts, designed by our very own Marco Miotti, the Dream Team brought the energy, engaging students with interactive demos, conversations, and, of course, plenty of fun! Seeing students get excited about the app and actively shaping its future made the event an incredibly rewarding experience.

Working closely with the ICT team, we’re committed to continually improving the My Imperial Campus app. Welcome Week isn’t just about introducing students to the app—it’s about co-creating something meaningful with the very people who will use it every day.
