We are thrilled to announce that the My Imperial Campus app, designed by DreamTeam in collaboration with ICT, has been shortlisted for the Technological or Digital Innovation of the Year at the Times Higher Education (THE) Awards! This nomination is a huge honour, highlighting our dedication to pushing the boundaries of technology to enhance the student experience.

The Oscars of Higher Education

This year marked the 20th anniversary of the THE Awards, often dubbed the “Oscars of higher education”, celebrating outstanding achievements across UK and Irish institutions. With 20 categories covering a diverse range of university activities, these awards recognise those making a lasting impact in the sector. The 2024 ceremony took place on Thursday, November 28, at the ICC in Birmingham, bringing together the brightest minds in education and technology.

Being selected as a finalist for this prestigious award is a fantastic achievement for DreamTeam and our partners at ICT. Representing the team at the ceremony was Liam Jones, alongside members of the ICT team, embracing the opportunity to engage with fellow innovators in higher education.

One of the most exciting moments of the evening was Liam discussing the future of innovation in higher education with Angela Smith, Baroness Smith of Basildon. His personal conversation with her about the evolving role of technology in universities reinforced the impact of our work and the potential for even greater advancements.

Looking Ahead

While we didn’t take home the trophy this time, this recognition fuels our ambition to continue developing cutting-edge solutions for students and institutions alike.
